The path to enlightenment lies in observation. A person seeking enlightenment has something missing from thier life. By observing what is around, you may find what it is you seek. Observing silence during masturbation one will not attract the attention of those on the other side of the window. This has been attributed to one "Peeping Tom" Murdock. By reamining silent and not distrubing the bushes under the window you will be able to gain a greater insight into how your neighbors do it. This touches on the sense of sight and is the most common way to observe. Another who follows a similar line of thinking is Roger "Flash" Thompson who believes that there are many people seeking enlightenment but just wander the parks unable to find what they seek.
So he wanders the parks of the world and brings the enlightenment to them.
He believes that by showing them what a real one looks likes they will gain a better understaning of the world around them. That covers observation by sight, but there are those who think that the other senses have as much to add to enlightenment.
Take for example Larry "Grabby" Hayes. He finds that exciting the sense of touch he can gain a better understanding of the world around him. From a small pinch on the bottom to grabbing a handful of the largest breast in the room.
But, "Touching Me Own" Willy Lance is on the opposite side of this spectrum in that he believes that in touching himself he will gain a better insight to the inner workings of things. Sometimes "T.M.O." Willy can be seen working with "Flash" Thompson and therefore combines feel and sight into one. Next we come to the sense of sound. By using the sense of sound you can lead yourself to a new source of enlightenment.
Colin "Eavesdropper" Harris is of the school of thought that you do not need to waste money on books of pick up lines when you can listen in on other people's conversations at the bar.
Taking it one step further is Sam "The Tapper" Jones. He believes that you can listen to a person's conversations on the phones. Especailly those who make frequent 900 calls. This takes alot of self control to follow. Refraining from blurting out things like "Oh yeah honey, rub it like you want it to fall off" that can lead to an early termination of the call and deny yourself enlightenment through sound. Next we come to the sense of smell. A leader in this field is Steven "The Sniffer" Matthews who finds that following the beautiful scent of perfume can lead to much enlightenment.
Somestimes it even leads to an unlocked window on the fire escape with a full laundry basket underneath. Here one can find a treasure chest of olfactory delights to lead one to new heights. Another one in this same school of thought is also the least successful of the bunch. Dan "The Sandbox" Smith who made his first attempt at burying himself in the sand, except for his nose, in the hopes that a beach blanket would be laid across him and he would gain enlightenment all day long. But failure to bury himself enough so he wouldn't be obvious and giving the tide no forethought led to a disastrous results. Also the lack of sunblock led to the subsequent changing of his nickname to "Rudolf". Lastly we come to the enlightenment through the observations of the sense of taste. Besides being a mouthfull to say, the observation of taste is a difficult one to follow. Oscar "The Smoocher" Norwood has come the closest to being successful in the line of thought. Through the use of the lips and tongue, and by jumping out fast and running away fast, he is able to travel the path of enlightenment by his tastebuds.
So as you can see we observe the world around us by using the five senses of our bodies. Through obsevation we gain an insight and therefore gain enlightenment. |
